Strava - not recording group rides if finish line is not reached - smullins_us - 12-21-2020 Good evening, I am not sure if the following has been answered somewhere already - I am not readily finding it. I noticed when I join someone else on a ride and the 'host' rider departs before I reach the finish line, no data is record in Strava for the ride. I completed about 12 or 13 miles on one ride today only to have the host rider leave before I could reach the finish line. As a result, nothing was recorded in Strava. That is certainly a disincentive to go on anymore group rides.
